(small) Ch-ch-ch-changes

Another week, another post - welcome!

The last couple of weeks have been somewhat eventful. Went to a synth night to see a friend of my partner’s play along with some other bands which was a wholesome experience (the bands were Soft Riot , So-So Disco, and Terror Bird if you wanna check them out!). I’ve also decided to challenge myself in trying to drink less or even not at all, which has been going quite well so far, and the gig was my first full sober night out. I was thankful to be able to wake up the next day and not feel fatigued or slightly ill - I have surprised myself at how long I’ve been able to keep this up so far.

Our friend is also still with us at the moment and still making incredible meals, and Mick (my partner) has also managed to get some hours reduced at work which means we can spend more time together (even if it is just vegetating on the couch). I’ve noticed how chilly it has gotten recently too, so naturally I have prepared for this by stockpiling soup and having at least one hot chocolate every day. Cosy socks and sweater wardrobe are pending. Despite this feeling of comfort, though, I am beginning to think with the change in weather that I have a little bit of seasonal depression (which I find odd to come to terms with as I’m very much an autumn/winter-colder-weather-person, and I find it hard to explain the difference in this feeling). I think the little things which I enoy about this time of year will help get me through it.

I was at the Barras market last weekend and introduced some What We Do In The Shadows stickers to the stall (which will be available on here soon) along with a Legally Blonde print and an Oasis print. There were many friendly people around and I got my first repeat customer! I’ve also been working on some Christmas present commissions and brainstorming some spooky content for halloween, which I will be posting on my Instagram page in due course! I also managed to get some sweet candles from Seeds and Saplings while I was there to go with my mum’s birthday present (they have so many nice plants, plant kits and candles!).

I think that’s everything covered for this fortnight, see you next time!
